The Concept
Yippie sticky collection started as an idea revolving around the experience the artist has with various people, who whenever asked if they could draw, their answer would always be in the negative or the reply usually is that they can just draw Stick figures. Hence the artist came out with the idea of working on a series of paintings entitled "When Children paint and adults misunderstand". At first the aim was to create various drawings using the naive concept, where both children and adults would give a different interpretation of the work, but later on the idea evolved into the creation of figures evolving around sociopolitical messages and fantasy. Later on, due to the lack of financial budget of art patrons who wanted to buy the paintings, the artist decided to create something more affordable and at the same time interactive to please his client's needs.
